Angie Blom's Creative Space

Happy Wednesday

Welcome to another Creative Space  Wednesday

Today I am sharing my creative space. It is located in the basement of my townhouse. This was a space I have dreamed about for a very long time and with the help of my son and my husband it finally came true this March during Covid lockdown... We were all home anyways right?!.

So as you enter the room this is the view . The table is a 8 feet so lots of room to spread out when creating. My husband and son built this for me 5 years ago , it holds lots of things . The large bins at the bottom hold all my Unity Stamp Company Kit of the Month and SMAK kits. There are so many starting from 2009 to 2020. I was a former Illustrator for this amazing company so I had lots of product. You can still find my stamp designs there.

The containers are from the grocery store (Farm Boy) they are a black fabric and really sturdy. The top of the cubby in the table holds some black pull out bins I got at my dollar store a few years ago and it also holds my Xyron 9 inch laminating machine and my Spellbinders Die cutter. With extra product I have collected in the years I have been scrapbooking and card making.

On the other side of the table I have 2 4x4 Kallax units and 1 2x2 these hold the same black bins filled with albums, papers, notebooks, extra punches and just stuff I wanted hidden. The Top is filled with some scrapbooks, stamps, 6x6 paper, my distress ink pads and photo boxes filled with cards. The top of the Kallax units hold some of the pretty stuff. My Copic Marker holder is from Crafters Companion and I am slowly but surely filling it up . I have some of my Vicki Boutin Product there as well, close and handy for when I want to play with some mixed media. It holds my Silhouette Cameo 4, my planners and a coffee/tea station so when I need a warm drink I don't have to go up to my kitchen to grab one. lol

This part of the top of my table I have some handy things, in arms reach. I have my Distress Sprays, tags, extra markers, Tape, Glue ... etc  The small green plastic roll bins hold my inks and some dies.

This is another wall holding 2 large Ikea dressers called Brimnes and 2 smaller ones, same modle but unfortunately not available anymore. In these I hold all my other Unity stamps.. I have a ton.. They take up all these drawers except maybe 4 of them where I keep my punches, travelers note books, my die cutting plates and some sweatshirts as it is cold in my basement.

The cart that sits beside the dressers are filled with itty bitty Unity Stamps and Washi tape. The top of the dresser holds more Unity Stamps... Nuvo Drops and some other crafty items.  Also 2 clipboards for displaying my favourite Ali Edwards printout and some of the Unity cards I created while I was part of their dt..

Well most of you know I am the owner and illustrator of Angie Blom Digital Designs and I wanted you to see how I store the items I sell in my shop.

I wanted to share how I store my digital design printout sheets.. I have a file folder case that I got at HomeSense you could also find these are any office supply store.  I organize everything by month and put my extra printouts in there, so when I need something it is easy enough to grab or carry with me if I go away.

I also have some ready to create with digital card panels. I first die cut them so it makes it easier to just get the one I want and create a card without having to die cut one at a time. I store them in this fabric  container that sits in the cubby of my table. I also sort them by theme just using some tags .

It is a great way to have them close to where I work. I just pull them out and colour. Easy Peasy

I store all my print out patterned digital paper in this container I got from my container store. It holds all my die cut papers and is handy to just put fast card together when I need to. It is all precut to the A2 size.

TIP: for printing the digital papers use any inkjet matte photo paper,

you will get bright beautiful printouts.

I store my papers here down beside my planner stickers and Misti stamping tools this way it is easy to reach . I also keep my Scrapbooking and Cards Today magazines there so when I need extra inspiration I can just grab one.

Thank so much for taking a look at where I create.

Have a Fantastic Crafty Day
